Easter Decor

Here are some photos of Easter decor I made this year...
Made a smaller scale Easter Tree for our house...

Pulled out my favorite apothecary jars and filled with some Easter goodies...

Used my Bunny Topiaries on the mantel this year, I love these little guys!

Fresh Spring tulips

and fresh Hyacinths, love them!

I found that cute little pink bunny in the "dollar" section at Target!

Hope you all had a wonderful holiday with your friends and family!
Looking forward to some nice spring weather now!

Easter Trees

Happy April!
I had a request to make Easter window decor for my family's store to take the place of the Valentines Trees that I made for February...
Here they are in all their glory... Handmade "Easter Trees"
I had seen several variations on this idea and just started brainstorming, I ended up clipping branches out of the trees in our back yard because I couldn't seem to find exactly what I was looking for in the stores... and I painted them white!
I found cute little glittery eggs at Dollar Tree and went to town with some styrofoam for the base, green Easter grass and these adorable bunnies from Pier 1 that I also used last year for some Bunny Topiaries

close up of the tree base.. I put the bunnies at varying heights where it would like they were "hopping".. haha!

I was very pleased with how they turned out!

Hope everyone had a fabulous Easter!

Valentine's Decor

Here are some photos from my Valentines crafts and decor
I probably bought close to 100 packs of Heart Picks at Dollar Tree this year for all my crafts!

I made 2, 3-foot tall topiarie trees for my family's store... here they are in the back of the car!
In the windows at the shop...
I love taking on large projects such as this, very fun and sometimes challenging!

I also did a lot of decorating with Valentine Conversation hearts, so fun

I also made two smaller topiarie trees for our kitchen table, so cute and my niece loved them!

I spray painted the styrofoam balls and wooden dowels, then hot glued the hearts to the balls and glued them into more styrofoam in the bottom of the pots.

For even more of a festive look I tied a bow to each dowel and topped the styrofoam with pink crinkle paper!
"Be Mine" banner I found at Target

 More Conversation Heart decor...
Dining Room table centerpiece

I am now obsessed with Apothecary jars... anything looks festive in them!

I gave my mom a beautiful Azalea plant for Valentines Day, I hope to replant it in a pot for the outdoors!
I hope everyone had a Valentines Day filled with love!

Bunny Topiaries

I found these precious moss covered bunnies at Pier 1 and I knew I had to find something to do with them for Easter!
I decided to get some little pots, floral foam, moss, and spanish moss to decorate them with.

Cut a little opening in the top of the moss to slide the bunnies through and put a little hot glue on the inside and they were ready to go!

And then added some extra moss to add some texture and there you have it!

I love how my spring centerpiece came together.
I also made some other bunny topiaries for the mantle and our kitchen table too!

Happy Easter!

Easter Wreath

Oh Pinterest... how you inspire us! I saw many versions of the Easter Egg Wreath and had to try it out for myself! And I am very pleased with the result!

I stocked up on plastic eggs at Michael's and Target.

Spray painted the wreath form from Michaels...

And got busy with the hot glue gun!
I did the row on the outside edge followed by the inside and then filled in the top of the wreath!

And then I went back and added some jelly beans to fill in the gaps and add some extra dimension!

And I decided to go with a green polka dotted wire ribbon for the bow! (Got some much needed help with the bow from my mom, the bow master!)
I think it turned out really cute and festive! I love it!
