Pizza fun!

So... have you seen the Pillsbury Ad on tv about making the Mini Pizzas out of biscuit dough?

Well last weekend I decided to see if they were really as good as they looked...
not only are they delicious, but super easy!!

Check out those yummy veggie toppings..

In the oven.

The finished product! (only have to cook for about 15-20 minutes!)

They are pretty self explanatory, and so yum!

Parnassus Books

Have you heard, Nashville will be getting a new book store!! (Since they have all closed up!)
Author Ann Patchett and business partner Karen Hayes say our great city needs a great bookstore.

The store [location and opening date not yet determined at time of publication] is to be called Parnassus Books, its name a nod to Mt. Parnassus, home of literature, learning, and music in Greek mythology.
Patchett said, “We will be a refuge for Nashvillians of all ages who share in the love of the written word. We plan to partner with and support local writers and artists, businesses and institutions to bring readers the best books in literature, non-fiction, children’s books, books of local interest and the arts, in both printed and digital formats.”

Can't wait for this!

The Olde Pink House

Thought I would share with you one of my favorite places/restaurants yet...
the Olde Pink House, in Savannah Georgia.

When my mom and I went to Savannah and Charelston a few years ago we were told we had to check out the "Olde Pink House", and let me tell you, it was not a disappointment!

What I had for dinner, "Crispy Scored Flounder" w/Apricot Shallot Sauce, Creamy Grits & Collards...
Probably one of the best dishes ever!

And it doesn't hurt that the building itself is pink!

Such a lovely place!
